Bet Types

There are a number of different ways to back your favourite runner. Select a type of bet below for more information and explanations. Betting closes when the race actually starts but it's wise to bet early to avoid missing out.

Win / Place
The simplest and most popular bet type.

Trifecta
1st, 2nd & 3rd placings in the correct order.

First 4
First,Second,Third and Fourth in the correct order on selected races.

Quinella
First and second in any order.

Doubles
Selecting the winner of two nominated races.

Trebles
Selecting the winner of three nominated races.

All-Up
Allows you to re-invest your winnings from one race to a second, third or even a fourth race at the same meeting.

Mystery Bet
The computer selects three horses at random including two of the five most favoured starters.
